How is your summer going? Our summer will be wrapping up very soon but we are enjoying every last bit while we can. A fun way to celebrate your summer is by watching Peppa Pig’s Sunny Vacation on DVD. Peppa, George, Mummy Pig and Daddy Pig vacation abroad enjoying all of the sights and sounds of Italy. Even with all the fun she also canβt wait to go home and see her friends! Packed with excitement as Peppa and her family set off on their trip across Italy. Kids and parents alike will love the four-part sunny special with 8 additional super fun-filled Peppasodes!
My kids love themed snacks to munch on while they watch movies so I made them Peppa peanut butter piggy treats.
Ingredients:
Bread
Circle Cookie Cutter
Banana
Chia Seeds
Chocolate Chips
Peanut Butter
1 Toothpick
Lay the bread flat on a plate and with a circle cookie cutter (if you do not have one use a drinking glass) and press into the bread leaving a nice circle. Next spread the circle with peanut butter. Then cut one banana slice (the nose) and place in the lower center of the circle, cut two more slices of banana (the ears) but then leave them rounded on the bottom and the tops like a triangle and place them on the top of the circle spaced out. Take the two chocolate chips and place them over the nose spaced out for the eyes. Finally pour a small amount of chia seeds on the nose and with a toothpick straighten them out forming two nostrils.
My kids loved these! It is a much healthier alternative to candy! My little piggy’s ate them up in no time! They make the perfect treat while watching Peppa Pig’s Sunny Vacation.
