Handprint Paper Plate Pumpkin Kids Craft (Learn & Link)

We are gearing up for the Fall season, so we made handprint paper handprint pumpkins. I love doing handprint crafts with my kids. I am one of those moms who saves all our handprint crafts too!

Handprint Paper Plate Pumpkin Kids Craft

Materials:

Heavy duty paper plate

orange finger paint

green cardstock

glue sticks

First drizzle some orange finger paint in the center of the backside of the plate and have the child spread out the paint, painting the whole plate. Next  trace their hands and then cut the handprints out, cut out a large rectangle for the pumpkin stem. Once the paint is dried glue the stem on the frontside of the plate and glue the handprint on the backside which they painted (front of the pumpkin) but have it kind of popping up a bit giving it a 3-D look.

All kids seem to like finger painting so I recommend this for ages one and up.  What handprint Fall crafts are you doing this with your kids this season?
