My kids love chicken nuggets. I get tired of buying processed chicken nuggets though. Many are filled with processed ingredients, so I decided to make my own. It’s so easy to make and tastes so much better than the frozen bag processed ones!
Ingredients:
Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Breadcrumbs (I make my own, you can see how to make them HERE)
Eggs
Cut the chicken breasts up into chunks. Next dip the chicken in the egg which I whipped so that the egg is fully mixed then coat in the breadcrumbs. I repeat the process again so that each chicken nugget is coated two times. This is a personal preference you do not have to coat two times.
I use a silicone liner in my pans but if you do not have one spray your pan with a cooking spray so that the chicken will not stick to the pan and you lose all your breading. Bake for 40 minutes on 425 degrees. After the 40 minutes is done I broil for about 3 minutes giving them a slight crunch! They taste SO much better and fresher!

Wow! Those look easy and yummy!
I love making my kids homemade nuggets. We love eating them with honey mustard dipping sauce. You’re making me hungry already this morning.
Yummy, I use the same recipe in making my own chicken nuggets. There’s something about my kids eating that processed chicken all the time, it’s good to switch up in making your own.
Those look delish and love the silicone liner… what else do you use it with??? maybe I should get one??? Thanks for the post
Shauna –
I use my silicone liner for just about everything. Baking cookies, cooking, etc. I try not to use the cooking sprays anymore.
I love making my son homemade nuggets! So much better than using frozen processed junk. Maybe I’ll try this recipe sometime!
So much healthier and tastier to make homemade chicken nuggets!
I prefer making my own too. It’s just so much more healthy!
