From the creators of Shrek comes DreamWorks Animation’s TROLLS, a smart, funny and irreverent comedy about the search for happiness, and just how far some will goto get it. This hilarious film transports audiences to a colorful, wondrous world populated by the overly optimistic Trolls. With a constant dance in their step and a song on their lips, and the comically pessimistic Bergens, who are only happy when they have trolls in their stomachs.
After the Bergens invade Troll Village, Poppy, the happiest Troll ever born, and the overly-cautious Branch set off on a journey to rescue her friends. Together, this mismatched duo embarks on arescue mission full of adventure and mishaps – trying to tolerate each otherlong enough to get the job done.
Executive Music Producer Justin Timberlake leads the TROLLS soundtrack featuring five original songs including songs by Justin Timberlake, Ariana Grande, Anna Kendrick and Gwen Stefani, in addition to a number of classic hits from the‘60s through the ‘80s. The music was my husband and my favorite part of the movie which brought back childhood memories!
My kids loved this movie! My feisty three year old sat still through the whole movie and was completely mesmerized which tells you how good the movie was. When I asked her what she liked about the movie she said, ” the pink hair”. While my seven year old daughter’s first words after the movie was over were, ” I loved it!” TROLLS is not just for girls but my boys thought the movie was fun and cannot wait to see it again. I definitely give this movie a thumbs up (minus taking the Lord’s name in vain a few times) and fun for the whole family to see!
My whole family lived trolls! Such a fun movie and great soundtrack!
I’ve heard that this movie is so cute, I’m glad you liked it too! Maybe I’ll take my kids to a matinee this week to catch it. Thanks for the review!
