Time has flown with this pregnancy. My c-section is scheduled for May 2nd. I went and had a routine ultrasound a few weeks ago and the ultrasound technician threw in a 3D image. My heart melts as I look at this photo. I can see his little hand on the side of his face. I see that from the nose down he has my husband’s features (nose, lips and shape of his chin).
It is hard to believe that in less than 5 weeks I will get to see all these sweet features up close and in person! Have you ever had a 3D ultrasound before?

It’s amazing. There were no 3D scans when I had my three. Hope it all goes well. Will be thinking of you.
They didn’t have 3D ultrasound when I was pregnant. I think it is the most amazing thing they have come out with. Here’s to your precious little one. Can’t wait to see the little one.
My daughter had it but not me! Blessings to you!
Awww so precious! Looking forward to see your newest little bundle π
What an exciting time for you and your family. I bet the next month will fly by really quickly!
Wow – technology is incredible!
That’s the first time I have seen this!
Aww! What a little cutie pie! I had a 3d ultrasound with the last baby. Such a cool experience π
Can’t wait to see the pictures of your newest little one π
I have never seen 3D out they do sound awesome. Wishing you all the best on your new arrival.
this is too cool. When is your due date? My sis n law is due mid-May with twin girls – sounds like you all are close in dates. π
Laura, My c-section is scheduled for May 2nd.
Congrats on the little bundle coming! 3D ultrasounds are amazing and so lifelike. We had a 4d one with my last daughter and it was so amazing to see them moving. I think my great grandma was the most thrilled. π
I love my 3D ultrasounds. I actually have them framed in my kids rooms because the are so awesome
Wow, it does seem like time has passed by. I feel like just yesterday you were announcing the pregnancy. I can’t wait to see so many more pictures.
Yeah, I was blown away at the 3D technology with my 2 kids. My wife had to see a perinatologist for both pregnancies, so we got 3D scans like every 3 weeks or so. Was cool to see the progression during that time.
Fantastic. That is the best ultrasound photo I have seen. really exciting. Thanks for sharing it with us.
Counting the weeks
What a sweet gift (the picture and the little one). π I haen’t had a 3D but I have friends who had them.
Wow! SO amazing. I have loved watching this journey and I wish you health and blessings these next 5 weeks.

How fun to get a 3d intro to your newest little one. Time is flying, that’s for sure!
Congratulations on the newest editon-to-be. 3D ultra-sounds were not yet popular when I had my last children. I would have loved to get one of those images.
My birthday is May 4th! Yay! π Congrats again and yes, that 3D ultrasound is amazing. I wish I had one done with my kids. Relax and take it easy…May will be here before you know it!
3D scans are wonderful! I wish I had them done with my children. The best of luck with your C-section!
Oh wow, how exciting. CONGRATS! And I wish you a smooth run on May 2nd. Blessings and have a great day.
They wanted to charge us a lot of money for a 3D image of the ultrasound the last time my wife was pregnant so that was nice they gave you one. That was a few years ago though. Congrats on the upcoming addition to your family.
Wow that is amazing! Hope it all goes well!
I haven’t been on here in a long, long time and I was soooo excited to see this post. CONGRATULATIONS!!!! I can already see that he is adorable!
To answer your question … I gave birth to 3 kids (and adopted 3) and I never had an ultra sound of any kind. Back then, they only did them if they thought there might be a problem. They weren’t routine.
Many blessings to you and your family!
look at that..super cute and such a moving experience indeed
