Pop Up Play — (Almost) Wordless Wednesday With Linky

The pop up tunnel is one of my kids favorite things to play in. It reminds me of my childhood. When I was a child I had one in my grandmother’s back yard to play in.  I remember it so vividly. It was light blue and I used to crawl through it and just lay inside and daydream. Those times seem like yesterday when in reality it was over 35 years ago!  I know I am dating myself!

I couldn’t resist taking this photo of my sweet girls playing in their pop up tunnel.

Did you play in one of these pop up tunnels as a kid? How about your kids do them play in one too?

  9. They look like they’re having fun, too! I don’t remember ever having anything like that. . . .and don’t worry. . .i’m still probably older than you! 😉

  10. Beautiful faces!

  11. My girls love playing in pop up tunnels, I actually ended up putting ours away for a little bit because they were running around the house standing up in it :/

  17. I spent last week in a pop-up tent! Same but a bit shorter. Lovely picture.

  18. They are SO CUTE!!! I didn’t have one when I was a kid (I know, I was deprived!!) but Princess Nagger LOVED hers – and played in it All. The. Time. until she outgrew it. I bet, though, if we still had it she’d be playing in it. 😉

  19. Aww. What a great pic! My girls loved play tunnels when they were littles too! I bought one for the cats but it wasn’t a hit 🙁

  20. Beautiful children… Mine also love the pop up tent. 🙂

  21. I love this photo so much! I don’t think they had those tunnels when I was a kid but I would have loved it. We did make tents with blankets and dining room chairs, though.
