My family enjoys the Night at the Museum trilogy, especially the latest on Night at the Museum Secret Tomb. Our little friend Dexter from the movie joined us in our family for a Spring Break adventure!
We started our Spring break by watching the Night at the Museum Secrete Tomb. This time, Larry Daley (Ben Stiller) and his heroic friends embark on their greatest adventure yet as they travel to London in order to save the magic that brings the museum exhibits to life! It was great to see the same star studded cast as well as new faces. This movie was very family friendly with quite a bit of comedy and references to other movies like Hugh Jackman (Wolverine) which is my boy’s favorite superhero!
I made a special dessert for my family to enjoy while we watched the movie. In lieu of our monkey friend; Dexter with us I thought it was fitting to make Monkey Bread.
Dexter had a busy week with my kids and I. We went to the park, to the pool and the library. He tried to keep up with us but at the end of the day he fell fast asleep with one of my kids.
When he needed a break from the craziness of my five children you could find him outside in our front yard tree. He found it nice and tranquil. He thought I did not see him swinging from branch to branch but I saw him! Shhh!
Then when Dexter felt lonely he came back inside for some love which my kids were so willing to give!
How are you spending your Spring break? I highly suggest adding a family movie night to your list and watch Night at the Museum Secret Tomb. You will enjoy watching Dexter and his antics!

Of course with Dexter along there must be Monkey Bread!! 🙂 A movie night is a good addition. We were going to go to Disney, but something else came up that ate right into those funds, so now we’re staying home. And such is life. Luckily, we all like being home too. 🙂
Yum to the monkey bread! Looks like your family had a fun time over their spring break. A family movie night is always a great addition to activities during a break from school.
