This time of the year my kids love to take a break for the hustle and bustle and sit back and enjoy watching Christmas movies. It definitely puts us in the Christmas mood! We were recently sent some amazing Christmas movies for my family to enjoy and we did!
Many of these shows such as Yo Gabba Gabba, Octonauts and Caillou are shows my kids enjoy watching frequently.
One crisp, winter morning, a young boy wakes up to find a thick blanket of snow has covered the ground as far as the eye can see. Filled with excitement, the boy decides to build a snowman using a tangerine for his nose, coal for his buttons and eyes, and tops him off with a hat and scarf. Later that night, at the stroke of midnight, the snowman comes to life! The young boy and the snowman embark on an adventure of discovery where the snowman explores the young boy s world and in return he takes him flying to his home in the North Pole. Upon arriving at the North Pole, the two join a party as the guests of honor to a very special person. Based on Raymond Briggs book, The Snowman which my kids enjoy at this time of the year.
A few years ago we saw Yo Gabba Gabba! live and ever since then our whole family has enjoyed their fun energetic music. Now it’s time to enjoy them in A Very Awesome Yo Gabba Gabba! Live Holiday Show! Join DJ Lance Rock, Brobee, Foofa, Muno, Plex and Toodee as they dance, sing and decorate the tree! My three year old absolutely loves the Octonauts The Very Veginal Christmas so I was not surprised that this was the first movie he wanted to watch. Join brave Captain Barnacles, daredevil ex-pirate Kwazii, and medic Peso Penguin, along with the other Octonauts as they explore the world s oceans, rescue the creatures who live there, and protect their habitats above and below the waves! The Vegimals plan a Christmas feast aboard the Octopod are interrupted when the Octonauts become entangled in a gigantic blob of sea snot! The holiday excitement continues when the Octonauts travel to Professor Inkling s childhood home, an undersea mountain, but soon discover that a rockslide has endangered the local creatures, including Inkling s nephew, Squirt!
In Caillou’s Holiday Movie when winter comes to Caillou’s house, this curious 4-year-old tackles all kinds of big boy activities like helping Daddy shovel snow, making holiday presents for his family and even discovering how other little boys and girls around the world celebrate the season!
All four of these movies make a perfect stocking stuffer this Christmas season!

I love the snowman, earliest child moment though was not aware of the movie.
Just this past weekend I had decided to let my two year old watch a Christmas movie only to find I had no idea which movies would be good for her age level! These are some good recommendations. I’ll go check them out!

‘The Snowman’ looks awfully familiar to me. I’m pretty sure I have seen this before. Seeing him wear that hat is bringing back some sort of memory.
