I have been using more Seventh Generation products & I clean with baking soda, vinegar, and other all natural ingredients as much as possible.

Try to buy clothes that are untreated.

I would love a mattress that didn’t smell like chemicals. When we got ours it took several days for the off smell to dissipate.

I bet this helps a lot with allergies, too. I’ve been making my own laundry detergent, dishwasher liquid, and using dryer balls. I have been either buying or making my own cleanser and using vinegar and water to clean glass and mirrors in my home. It helps my kids with their allergies and sinuses and helps me as well.
That is a sweet bed!! I love the organic nature of it. I could definitely use one of those for my daughter’s bed! we have eliminated a lot of chemicals, but I didn’t even know a safer mattress was even an option! Love this.

With asthma and being allergic to everything, I have to do everything like this. I would love an organic bed for my mother to sleep on either here or in her home.

I discovered an awesome product. Dr. Bronners Sal Suds! It is amazing! I use it for everything from all purpose spray to laundrey soap! It is made of natural ingredients and is gmo free and organic. It comes extremely concentrated and lasts months for only about $10.
We ripped the carpet out of our house a few yrs. ago replacing it with bamboo floors. That made a huge difference. Had I realized there was formaldehyde in carpets, I would never have had it.
We ditched most of our chemical cleaners and replaced them with non toxic cleaners.
