I have an antsy child, he just simply cannot sit still. He has lots of energy so we have to find ways for him to use that energy during quiet times like in our homeschooling.  There are times in our homeschooling where he needs to sit and listen as I read so in order to keep him busy and sitting still he plays with Crazy Aaron’s Thinking Putty.

In 1998 Aaron Muderick was working as a software engineer. Writing code all day offers periodic pauses as code is uploaded to the server. During one of those pauses, Muderick picked up a piece of Silly Putty on his desk and squished it mindlessly waiting for his code to process. Soon his co-workers wanted a piece of the putty too. Muderick decided to make his own and 16 years later, Puttyworld is a hit with kids and adults alike.

As a child I have played with putty type products and so have my children but Crazy Aaron’s Putty World products are unique because it comes in over 30 exciting colors, never dries out, and is all 100% Made in the USA! Not only do they come in fun colors but they have some that glow in the dark, magnetic and. heat sensitive.  All three of these are my son’s favorite.

All the putty’s are unique but the Glow in the Darks is hypnotic and irresistible! With it’s milky white color in daylight and glowing appears when the lights dim. It comes with a black light key chain to write messages on the putty and draw special designs. You can even do cool tricks with Glow in the Dark Thinking Putty. After exposure to light (the brighter, the better), these colors will glow for hours.

Then there is the Super Magnetics Thinking Putty that can be is stretched, molded, or shaped, the putty has no magnetic charge and behaves like any other Thinking Putty. However, in the presence of a magnetic field, its magnetic forces begin to align. Suddenly, a truly Super Magnetic Thinking Putty is created that will attract to one magnetic pole and repel from the other.

Allow it to cool off or stick it in the fridge! Then the “cool” color will be restored. Turning from orange to a pale yellow color as the temperature changes.

These products are wonderful on so many levels: for play – allowing children to use their creativity and imagination, relief for stress – working out stress with your hands while stretching and kneading the putty or great for homeschoolers to use as science experiments as well as great for children strengthening their motor skills, dexterity and hand muscles.
