I wish I could close my eyes and  be at my target goal weight I have set for myself, open my eyes and BAM! I  achieved my goal which was the weight I was before having 5 children! We all know that is not possible, so what can I do? I can keep procrastinating or I can do something about it!

My husband and I have had 5 children in a span of 8 years. Spaced approximately 2 years apart from each other, with them being so close I have not had much time to lose much of the pregnancy weight. 5 pregnancies = lots of weight to lose!  Now with five kids ages 8 years to  9 months I find myself not having much time to go to a gym to exercise and most of the time I am eating all the wrong foods.  This year my diet has completely changed, I have eliminated  unhealthy foods and have an exercise plan. I will admit it is a struggle. It is so easy to put on weight but to lose it is a battle. CVS offers a wonderful tool to get you started if you are looking for a healthier you! The CVS MinuteClinic offers a program for weight loss

This Weight Loss Program is designed to help you lose weight by making healthy choices. Sometimes it’s hard to make those choices or many we just need a little push and encouragement, that is where a trained practitioner will help develop your plan, set realistic goals, keep you on track and get you on your path to a healthier lifestyle.

  5. Now isn’t that neat that they offer weight loss coaching? Sadly just checked and we don’t have a Minute Clinic close to us 🙁

  6. Wow I didn’t realize that CVS minute clinics were offering weight loss help. I am finally giving in this year and making it a priority for myself!

  7. LOVE CVS. So thankful to have one so close to me. They have great deals and everything we need in a hurry.

  8. I go to CVS all the time but have never seen a minute clinic. It is so cool to see a personalized weight loss program like this.

  9. I wish we had a CVS Minute Clinic near us. The closest CVS is 3 hours away. I keep hearing such great things about them.

  10. I think it’s fantastic that there are places like MinuteClinic that help people with things like quitting smoking!

  11. I have been stalking the CVS MinuteClinic website. I am very interested in their weight loss programs. I just need to get myself off the comptuer and in their door. Thanks for posting!

  12. I wish we had a CVS closer to us, I’ve heard nothing but good things!

  13. I had no idea that CVS offered a weight loss clinic, that’s awesome! I’ll have to check it out.

  14. It sounds like the perfect boost for people (like me!) who need help being held accountable for their weightloss goals!

  15. I didn’t realize they had different clinics for different things. That’s terrific to know you can get help for specifically what you need help for.

  16. I have visited them before when I was ill but I never knew they also had wellness programs.

  17. I have to admit, I am very anti CVS Minute clinics, because they push vaccinations so hard, and there are untrained staff doing medical work. Not something I would willingly walk into.

  18. These CVS MinuteClinics offer a lot of useful services. I didn’t know they had weight assessment visits. That’s impressive.

  19. Wow! I didn’t know that CVS did this. That is pretty awesome. That is a good thing to know. Good luck with your weight loss efforts. I know how difficult that can be.

  20. i love that cvs is making so many great programs available to everyone!

  21. being from RI where cvs is based i am still so surprised we do not have a minute clinic. i know one is in the works so i’m excited!

  22. This is something to look into.. I have a weight loss goal that i am trying to achieve by April.

  23. What an awesome service. I will have to check it out.

  24. and the best thing is that i think at some of the CVS’ clinics – you can get EB with them….. 😀

  25. This is great. I know we have a CVS pharmacy in town, but its not one I use. I love that they have a minute clinic. Also I think if we learn to cook outside of boxes and prepackaged meals, we really will learn to eat healthier. Last night, I simply steamed up some fresh carrots, broccoli and cauliflower, added a little butter and my 2 and four year old ate them up. It surprised me. I think sometimes we think there will be too much protest if we change our eating habits. Great post.

  26. Good for you! I hope that you are successful in your endeavors and I wish you the best of luck! You have my support.

  27. I had no idea CVS had a weight loss program; that’s great! I think it’s easier for most people to lose weight when they feel like they’re being supported and not alone. You’re welcome to swing by my blog on Fridays and link up for Fitness Friday! There’s a great group of ladies, motivating each other to reach their fitness and/or weight loss goals.

  28. We don’t have CVS in our town, but what a great program! Not to self promote, but I am in the middle of a 101 day challenge to get the last bit of weight down. I will be posting updates periodically throughout the challenge. I will check back to see how you are doing with yours as well. Accountability is always good.

  29. This is a fantastic service. I wish it were closer to me

  30. It is about time to reconsider how we view health. Kudos to you guys!

  31. This is such a great service! I will have to check it out at our CVS and see if they are offering it! Thanks for sharing!

  32. CVS’s tool sounds amazing. I had the same struggle with weight loss but fortunately I had plenty of time to get back in shape as I only have 1 daughter. Good luck with your healthy plans this year.

  33. I never thought of using the Minute Clinic for something like that.

  34. wow! that is great information! I should stop smoking but I will eventually.
