With seven of us now there is always something going on in our home. Last week I had to go to a few different doctors because of sharp pains down my left arm and in my breast. I was bounced around like a basketball from my primary doctor who set up an ultrasound in their own office and then when I showed up for my appointment then told that they do not do “female related ultrasounds”. Needless to say I was not happy to get all the way there and be turned away and have to make an appointment elsewhere.
That is why Healthgrades is such an awesome resource, offering the leading online resource for comprehensive information about physicians and hospitals. Not only is it a place to find a physician or hospital but Healthgrades is a wealth of information. Now Healthgrades is an App!
Features:
• Get doctor recommendations from friends and trusted community groups, integrated with Healthgrades leading provider data.
• Search for doctors based on insurance, patient feedback, location, gender, hospital affiliation and more. I try to use my health insurance’s web-site to search for a doctor and it’s definitely not user-friendly or when I can my provider it’s even worse because I am placed on hold for quite sometime and most of the time their customer service is unable to answer my questions. The great thing about the Healthgrades App is that everything is at your fingertips all in one place!
• Set appointment reminders, store physician information for each family member and personal notes. Why use a regular calendar when this app has everything you need!
• Create your own physician network to share with friends and families. A prefect tool for on the go too!
Busy mom? This App is for you! It’s hard for me to keep track of all five of my kids well visits, this App is a must! You can download the Healthgrades App to your iPad, iPod Touch or iPhone at the App Store.

This is cool. But not sure how much I would use it though. I don’t even go to the doctor that much. I suppose there are others who would use it quite a bit.
I love Healthgrades! So convenient to find all my up to date medical info!
That’s a great idea for people to use to find a doc…especially if they are new to an area!
Super useful. There is way too much info floating around and unorganized. This is a great thing to have.
This is pretty neat! Anytime I have to see a new doctor I always want to find out as much about them as I can and what other people think about them. I think this would be a really helpful tool!
I love this for setting appt reminders! I need a better way to keep track of them! My calendar often gets ignored…
I love this idea! My kids both have frequent appts due to chronic illnesses and this would be wonderful to stay organized!
This is neat! I would love being able to do this in the comfort of my own home! With my busy schedule, I need something to help keep me straight with appts!
this sounds like the perfect app for medical information, thanks for sharing!
This app is so helpful. With 4 people in one household, and lots of different doctors to visit, we’d us this quite a bit.
This is an awesome app! I could have really used this when pregnant with the twins. I’ll pass it on to my mom.
One thing about being a parent is that you have to remember everything about everyone. This would be so useful!
What a wonderful tool! This is such a great resource!
I think this is an awesome app and will be very helpful and useful for a lot of people! Thanks for sharing.
Awesome app. Thanks for sharing!
This is such a great idea. I hate when I miss an appointment.
I’ve never heard of this before! Very cool!
Interesting! Do you happen to know if it’s possible to somehow print everything?
