My husband bought me an iPad for Christmas. Prior to that I had an Android tablet. I thought that was suffient and I wouldn’t need an iPad but he couldn’t resist the black Friday deal @ Walmart. So over the last week and 1/2 I have been playing with my new iPad, learning new things about it. I love it! I have been using it almost daily in our homeschooling.
Did you know that you can upload the Kindle app and get free e-books stored to your Cloud? Just go to Amazon (you do need and Amazon account to do this – it’s free) and type in Kindle e-books for kids, here are some fun ones I uploaded for my kids that we have been reading:

Foreign Language:
Learn Spanish (my 7 year old learned all his letter sounds in Spanish this week just from this App)
Math
Skip Counting and Addition (My 5 year old is enjoying this App this week when he’s done with his daily curriculum lesson)
Art:
Art Puzzle (This is a fun way for kids to do after learning about the artists, I will pay to upgrade the App for more artists) My kids love this App I even enjoy playing it! You can change the puzzle pieces from easy to hard!
Geography:
GeoChallenge (This App event allows you to create a fun passport, kids can play geography games) I like this because Geography is not my thing and this definitely is fun and educational!
What fun educational Apps do you have, share them! I am new at this and still learning how to use my iPad! I am all about having fun and learning and my kids love electronics so this has been a great asset to our school room!
