I love Q-tips, there are so many uses for them besides gently cleaning your ears. Especially Precision Tips!

Q-tips are very inexpensive and can be used for so many different applications such as:

With 4 children my home gets messy! the Precision Tips Q-tips are great for cleaning whether it be fore your home, office or car. Q-tips are the perfect tool to clean any nooks and crannies. I like using them in my car in the small areas on the inside of my door. Even the screws get all full of dust or gunk and Q-tips are a perfect solution to getting all that gunk out.

Or use them on computer keyboards or computers or telephones. There are such tight spaces between the keys but these are products that get used frequently and they too get really dirty. Just dab a bit of water or safe cleaner on the Q-tip and, gently clean between the keys. I recommend cleaning the keyboard with your computer turned off from my past experiences!

As a homeschool mom Q-tips are perfect for our classroom tool! For my 2 year old daughter they are great for her little hands to do learning activities with. Line up blocks with holes in them and have the child place the Q-tips in the holes, or give them an bottle or jar with a narrow opening or have them drop the Q-tips in the bottle, great for hand and eye coordination! For pre-writing take yarn and make shapes on the floor and have the child place the Q-tips over the yarn for tracing.

Another tool is for arts and crafts. Instead of using paintbrushes use Q-tips for painting. No messes to clean up, use then toss! Not to mention they are good for smaller hands, paintbrushes are long for littler children and Q-tips are nice and easy to use plus you can use both ends verses with a paintbrush you can’t! Also I consider myself to be a very thrifty person so when our glue sticks get low and hard to use I hate to toss them out so I give my kids Q-tips to get the last of the glue out.

How about using them for the media for art projects? They make life-like snowflakes! The white color pops on blue construction paper. You can even add a bit of color to the Q-tips if preferred. Perfect for a Christmas or winter craft!

And finally I love them for taking off eye makeup. I wear waterproof eye makeup and it’s hard to come off so I like to dab a very tiny bit of eye makeup lotion remover to the Q-tip and gently rub the makeup off. Using Q-tips for taking off nail polish is another great application. Especially my 2 year old daughter who I allow her toe nails to be painted. Being little her toenails are so little that taking off nail polish with Q-tips work wonderfully!And when we are ready to take the polish off since her toe nails are so tiny Q-Tips are great to take the polish off with. I use them too to take my polish off with!
