While my husband takes my older boys to karate on Sunday evenings I decided to have craft time with my 2 year old artsy daughter. We will read a book and then doing a craft in relation to the story we read. This particular time my 4 year old did not go to karate, he stayed home and did the craft with us.
The book we read:

We made paper towel dragonflies.
materials needed:
paper towel roll
paint to paint the paper towel roll
constuction paper (cut in the shape of wings)
construction paper circle for the face
chenielle stick for the anntae
hole punch to thread the chenielle stick through
scotch tape to tape the face on the roll

We are back and glad to be joining A Mommy’s Adventures in linking up to stART! Literature and art joined together!
