Fairy Tales Hair Care was created over 20 years ago in the Fairy Tales Salon in Hewlett, NY. For years, parents would ask the stylists what were these products that made their children’s hair so soft and manageable.

This is my 2nd opportunity to review Fairy Tales great products, the 1st time being Bug Bandit and now thankfully I have had the opportunity to review 4 of their hair care products!


Rosemary Repel Shampoo is the first of its kind, this unique shampoo uses organic rosemary, citronella, tea tree, anise, lavender and geranium oils to help repel lice and other insects from the hair. My Review: I love Fairy Tales products because of their natural ingredients. I am always looking for safe and natural type products for my family to use. I use the Rosemary Repel Shampoo, Conditioner and Repel and Shield Spray for my daughter who has beautiful long hair, using these products I found her hair to be nice and soft and smelling like an herbs garden! For my son who has thick hair I use the Leave in Conditioner and then comb his hair, it made his hair “tame” and easy to comb. Even though my kids do not go to public school and we homeschool we are still around quite alot of children at church, homeschool group activities, etc. I feel safe knowing that my children are protected from critters in their hair. I remember getting lice as a child and the nasty chemical treatment my mom had to use, it’s resuring to know that Fairy Tales has safe products that are dependable to use on our children.
