I am doing a unit study with my preschool on Noah’s Ark for the next few weeks. I decided do a science experiment that involved water. So I modified a sink or float experiment so that my preschooler and kindergartner could both do it!
Materials needed:
bowl of water
sink or float file foler game, you can print it off at File Folder Fun.
leaf
paper clip
ice cube
scissors
fork
bouncy ball

Taking turns I had each child put an item in the water to see if it would sink or float. My preschooler than would place the item card in the proper pocket in the file folder game. Sink or float
Than at the end of the experiment my older son filled out his experiment sheet.
