RECYCLED AIRPLANE stART

Every Thursday A Mommy’s Adventures does a really fun blog carnival every Thursday – read your child a story then accompany it with art!

Our homeschool group went to a recycling place for a field trip last Friday. This is a place where people bring materials that other people can use. As a educator we were able to take books, supplies for crafts, etc. for a $1.00! I left with 20 lbs worth of stuff! Accompanied by a tour of their facility the kids made crafts out of recycled materials. Both my boys and most of the boys there made foam airplanes.

We brought our’s home & my 3 year old deocrated his with paint & stickers.
I decided to read him a airplane book to go with the craft. This week we did it backwards – craft 1st then read the book!
