This week was many 1sts for my son – he painted on a canvas using acrylic paint. Without trying to sound prideful – he did a great job! I am so proud of him.

Then we went to the library and checked out a book called: Drawing is Easy Drawing With Your Hands
I traced his hands, he did the rest!

Rabbit (traced with all fingers in except for the index & middle fingers), Snake (the face was done by tracing his hand on its side – I did help him the body part too, Fish same as the Rabbit but done sideways.

I checked out several art books from the library, plus I have the Artistic Pursuits cirriculum that we will be using in the up & coming weeks. I am so glad he is enjoying Art – I love painting, etc!
