I watched Dolch Signt Words Part 1 with all 3 of my children (4 yrs., 2 yrs. & 11 months). I believe they each got something out of this great educational DVD. My oldest who will be 5 years next month who I am currently homeschooling on a Kindergarten level for the most part enjoyed reading the words he already knew when they come up on the t.v. screen. He especially loved the rhyming words, this was probably his favorite part because he’s ALWAYS talking out loud just saying rhyming words. As my 2 year old watched the DVD he would announce the shapes as they appeared on the t.v. screen. My baby loves music so the music played on the DVD held her attention. As a homeschool educator I think Dolch Sight Words Part 1 DVD is a great teaching tool. It can be used to teach several different ages. I also thought it was a great way to teach by using bright colors with shapes and the words all rolled into one.
