We are learning about sea creatures this week after going to Sea World over the weekend, so our stART is What’s Under the Ocean?
Viola! Our toliet paper octopus!
In 1/2 I cut the bottom in strips (for the legs), the kids painted them, when they dried they used round stickers for their eyes, JJ drew the nose & mouth on his!
Great way to use recylced items! This was fun! The boys were so excited, they couldn’t wait to show Papa when he got home from work! We have them displayed in my curio cabinet!

Excellent, I might borrow this idea, and add it to one from Frugal Family Fun, and use an oatmeal container to make a giant octopus!

Very cute project – we did a very similar one last summer for our ocean theme. This books definitely looks “well loved” – must be a great read.

I so wanted to try an octopus craft this week, but my little one was SO not into any of our octopus books! We always have empty TP rolls around here – what a great use for them!!
