Circles

Jumping Bean is 30 months.

We will be spending the next few weeks learning our shapes. We started this week with Circles!

Colors & shapes memory match game I bought at Target for .58! It comes with 2 sets of the cards, I laid 1 set on the floor & Jumping Bean matched the 2nd set to the 1st set.
I cut out a circle out of the bubble wrap & then with a circle sponge Jumping Bean did a “circle” painting.
I took a string, made a circle on the floor & gave Jumping Bean game playing chips, I had him trace the circle with the game chips.
He loves to play with toy balls so to continue our “circle” theme I taped paper towel rolls together, tied it to a chair, gave him some balls for him to roll throught the paper towel rolls.

We had a busy week, playing, learning, Valentine’s Day Party – it wore him out! He fell asleep at the dinner table!

Next week we will be learning about more shapes : triangles & hearts!
