The Three Little Pigs
I read The Three Little Pigs (retold by Paul Galdone) to both my boys. Then with a materials kit from Lakeshore Learning Materials we set up the 3 houses as we read the story & then the kids took turns being the big bad wolf & blowing the houses down. (If you do not have this kit, it would be so easy to make your own 3 houses & to make a wolf mask & have your child blow the house down!
JJ (the big bad wolf) blowing the straw house down.
Jumping Bean (the big bad wolf) blowing the stick house down.
Then like the big bad wolf huffing & puffing I gave the kids each a straw, paper & a little bit of watered down paint for them to pratice their blowing (blow art). the paint moved all around the paper as they blowed throught their straws!

What a great project! Emily loved the story of the Three Little Pigs. It was such a great idea to do the blow art with this story. I LOVE it :0)

Such a great idea to include blow art with the 3 Little Pigs story! Love it 🙂
Very cute!!! I love it! Fast Eddy would love the straw part! Maybe he will blow out some energy!
How fun that you could extend the story in more than one way. We love this story and read several variations of it – my daughter prefers the one where nobody gets cooked alive 🙂
