The last 2 weeks I have been teaching my toddler his colors, this week I did a fun hands on activity with him (which I will post under tot teachin’)I took glasses of water & had him add food coloring to them so he could see the water turn colors. After we were done I looked at these glasses full of food coloring & I thought I hate to just throw these away. What can I do with them – I got it! I took out some paper & paint brushes & my boys painted!
I love how JJ’s painting turned out – it looks like it’s tie dyed!
They had fun doing this because it was something different other than just ordinary paint!

What a great blog! I love the idea of using food coloring to teach colors AND to paint! My two year old will have a blast with this! Followin from Follow Me Friday
This is a great idea!

I really like hands on activities like this to teach concepts. What fun to experiment with food colouring and then paint.
I like how you used your theme for your Art Box.

I have a t-shirt that looks like JJ’s painting; lol. I love to watch children use their creativity (and their mom too).
