I saw this Gymboree baby play book
I took a stainless steel bowl (turned the bowl upside down) & a wooden spoon for her to pat the wooden spoon on the bowl to play music. She mostly liked putting the wooden spoon in her mouth!
Then she liked just patting her hands on the bowl & hearing the sounds

This is so cute! We used some old Christmas Tins that I had, three different sizes. Selena loved to use them for music then for stacking skills.
great idea for using them as nesting – I have these in several sizes – I will try that w/ my toddler. Thanks! 🙂
Came over to read your Tot School post and decided to read more, so glad I did. My mom got my son Xander (turned one last week) a set of 4 nesting stainless steel mixing bowls and a set of wooden spoons for Christmas. It has been his favorite gift. He loves banging on them with the spoons, banging them together, sorting his toys into them. I hadn’t thought about using the different tins, I have a whole bunch and I bet he’d love them!
