Colors part 2

Colors part 2

This is our 2nd week learning about colors!

This was my tot’s favorite! I took an empty almond container w/ a lid that flips open and colored popsicle sticks, had him put them inside the flip portion.

Then he likes shaking the container & then flip portion opened up & popsicle sticks went flying everywhere (that was his favorite part, then putting them back in the container & doing it all over again)

Jumping Bean added food coloring in the water & watched the water turn to colors, then he told me what colors they were.

I took a empty Gerber Puffs container, poked holes in the lid, had Jumping Bean put the pipe cleaners through the holes and with different color pny beads he put each color on the pipe cleaner.

For the next few weeks we will be learning about shapes, come back and check it out!

  2. What great color activities, I saved a bunch of colored lids and containers to do similar things with. I am hoping that Emily will enjoy them as much as your little one :0)

  3. Fun!

  4. An alligator skull? How lucky to have an alligator skull. I bet they loved that.

  5. The color cubes look like fun. Did you make them yourself?

  6. Susan- no I didn’t make that game, we have a local library that you can check out educational toys, we go there every 2 weeks to play there & check out new things. This pic was taken there. 🙂
