A few years ago I made my oldest a superhero cape & my toddler loves to wear so I decided to make him his own & give it to him for Christmas.

I used cotton type fabric for the appliques (these characters were already on the fabric), I cut them out & did the tighest zig zag stitch around them so they do not fray, sewed them on black fleece. On the other side I used Spiderman fleece fabric. I used velcro for closure, I thought about using my snap press but thought maybe it wasn’t a good idea if it got caught on something & he couldn’t get it off + the velcro would be easier for his little hands to put on & off.
I used to make thing like that for my boys when they young. We all loved it. Right now I’m stressing to get a quilt finished by Christmas,
