SCHOOL IN THE "OLDEN TIMES" – WORDLESS WEDNESDAY WITH LINKY

This is a schoolhouse from 1935. It has been moved to an area with older homes, etc. for the public to learn and enjoy.
This schoolhouse was constructed in 1935 and opened in 1936. With ONE teacher who taught 6 different grades – 13 children total. It was an elementary school until 1965 when it closed.
Walking in you could smell the oldness of the building. Inside even the  hardwood flooring was original.

My boys are not used to sitting in desks like this because we homeschool at a big table!
My have desks changed over the years!
