Have you ever heard of International Coffee Day? It already passed (September 29th), but in my opinion everyday should be Coffee Day!
I had a Coffee Day Party Day party with some of my homeschool friends featuring International Delights Iced Coffee’s. We chose a nice quite park so that the kids could play while we just sipped our iced coffee and enjoyed our conversations with each other.
International Delights Iced Coffee’s come in 3 delicious flavors: Original, Mocha and Vanilla. My husband and I enjoyed Vanilla the most.
As the moms walked up and saw the chilled Iced Coffee’s sitting waiting for them they were smiling from ear to ear! Many never even trying these delicious coffee before!
During our party some of the moms had mentioned how much money they spend on the fancy iced coffees at the coffee shops. Some even going to fast food places and purchasing their iced coffee’s because the fancy iced coffee’s are too pricey but they they tasted The International Delight Iced Coffee’s at our party they were amazed that for $3.99 they could have delicious iced coffee in 3 different flavors which is a fraction of the price they have been paying at the coffee shops!
These savory, creamy, rich iced coffee’s were a hit, satisfying our sweet tooth, craving for coffee while we enjoyed our time together!
As homeschool moms and like most of this day in age who can afford coffee’s at these fancy coffeehouses? Most of us live on a budget. The great thing about International Delight Iced Coffee’s is that you can have your own coffeehouse right in your own home anytime of the day!
Not only can you just drink these delicious coffee’s but they can be used as the main ingredient in recipes for cookies, muffins and more! I passed out recipe cards at my party, one of the recipes was for Mocha Chip Muffins:
1 3/4 cup flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp sale
3/4 cup sugar
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup International Delight Mocha Iced Coffee
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 tsp instant coffee
1 egg, 2 tsp vanilla extract
Preheat oven 400 degrees, line a 12 cup muffin tin with paper liners. Whisk together dry ingredients in a bowl, stir in chocolate chips. In separate bowl, whisk together remaining ingredients, stirring until coffee is dissolved. Add Iced Coffee mixture to flour mixture, stirring just until incorporated. Fill each muffin cup 3/4 cup full. Bake 18-20 minutes until tops spring back. Cool 10 minutes. Makes 12 muffins.
Easy right?
At the end of the party I asked the moms which coffee was their favorite, many said Vanilla (which I am partial too myself) while many enjoyed Mocha! A few of the moms took home the remaining coffee to enjoy with their families as well as money saving coupons too!
