We have a local library that is similar to a regular library but they have books & educational toys you can check out, this was one of the items I checked out for jumping bean. He loves it!
You could probably make this toy yourself, using a wooden dowel, gluing a wooden bead at the end & then giving your child larger wooden beads to thread on. He likes these better than stringing beads using string.

My Alex (just turned 2) refuses to string beads. He’ll stack them, but he won’t string them. I may try something like this…great idea!
