Each Thrusday A Mommys Adventures does a great blog carnival. You read a story to your child & then accompany it my art! We have so much fun doing this every week! What a blessing!
This week we read
I picked this book up at the library because my oldest is ALWAYS giving me a hard time, his exact words everytime are the same as the name of this book!
This book is really cute! Even though all of his jungle friends take baths, Little Tiger decides he doesn’t need one, until one day he sees his reflection in the river.
For the craft I decided to do something different. My boys have a ton of bath toys but to make bath tub more fun we made bath puppets.
I bought some laytex rubber gloves, the boys colored (WITH SHARPIES) the fingers & made faces.
Then I cut the fingers off
My preschooler’s bath puppets
My toddler’s bath puppets (I drew the faces for him – he colored the rest)
My preschooler even put them on his toes!
They had a blast playing with them in the bath tub – this time they did want to take a bath!

That is a brilliant idea! Can’t wait to try it!! and that book looks darling. I have a friend whose daughter wanted to give up baths for lent. 🙂
That sounds like a really cute book!
Those are very cute – I hope they help with bath time!
Those puppets are so cute. Did you use permanent markers so the colors don’t come off in the bath? The book looks adorable too, and you might like a Big Smelly Bear – a fun book on the same topic.
LOL…now THAT’S creative!!!
What fun!
You’ve been given an award on my blog!
