HOMEMADE FATHER’S DAY ROCK GIFTS BY MY BOYS!

My 2 year old collects rocks where ever we go and he gets upset when I throw them out so I saved a bunch in a ziploc bag & decided to make use of them as a Father’s Day craft for my husband and step-father from the 2 boys.

My step-father likes to garden so my oldest son painted him a ladybug on his rock then he painted a smiley face on the little rock for his daddy’s desk at work. The other 2 rocks my toddler painted, 1 for my step-father & one for my husband’s desk.

  1. We made a rock paper weight for my husband last year and after B painted it, I wrote “My Dad Rocks!” =) Cheesy I know but I thought it was cute.
I’d like to have B paint some big rocks to put in the garden.
    What a fun activity.

  2. Those are so sweet! What a fantastic idea!

  3. Perfect!! Love these! We already made our father’s day presents.. but I think we might make a few of these too 🙂

  4. These are just perfect!

Selena is the same way with rocks, don’t dare throw them away. She also loves to paint them.

  5. Aww, great idea to make rocks for the garden!

  6. Those are so cute! We did some rock crafts like that next week, but I think I might get the kids to paint some more tomorrow morning while dh sleeps after his night shift. I completely forgot that it was Father’s Day until yesterday. Ooops, bad mommy. Actually, I guess I didn’t completely forget – I just thought it was NEXT weekend. Oooooops. Or maybe they’ll have to stay up late tonght. . . hmmmm. . . .
