This week’s question over at The Homeschool Village is “What about P.E.?”
Well, I am currently looking into various physical activities for my kindergartner. My options are sports at our local community centers, etc. I am still praying where God wants us. In our homeschool group there is quite a bit of activity too, play dates at the park, etc. I consider this as physical activity as well! My son did tell my husband & I the other night while watching a dancing contest on t.v. that he wants to learn how to dance which took us both by surprise! So I will look into that for him, I have tried to push sports but maybe that’s not where God wants him!
Here are a few pictures of what I consider was P.E. for us during the year! Running through water fountains, bowling, swimming with his cousin, brother or friends or trampoline. He did take a class for 6 weeks on the basics of soccer (click to see pics).

what great photos! Lots of fun and physical activitiy!
thanks for linking up! Living in FL – we LOVE splash parks!

Excellent pictures showing PE!! 🙂
Swimming and Bowling are fun!! We love them too!! Thanks for sharing your photos and PE on The Homeschool Village! 🙂
Fun photos! It looks like you’re finding a lot of great ways for your son to be active. And it sounds like you’re doing a great job of helping your son find his interests! As figure skaters, both of my kids took lots of dance lessons. If your son enjoys dance, that’s an amazing workout! My son still uses his dance training in his skating coaching – and he often goes salsa dancing with his wife!
Water play in the hot Texas summers gets my vote. We have also taken some nature hikes in our local park. My grandsons walked, ran, climbed, stretched, jumped and most important discovered. They had no idea they were doing P.E. Thanks for the fun pictures.
That looks like so much fun! We should come visit your house for “P.E.”! My girls would love all of that!

Okay. I got your blog to load again, and I’m going to try one more time. I apologize if I’m leaving a second comment. I never got any indication that the first one went through. My internet connection has been crazy today!
Your pictures are great! All of those activities look like so much fun! My girls would love coming to hang out with your kids! Thanks for sharing!

Stopping by from Follow Me Chickadee – I think your ideas of P.E. are awesome, coming from someone who wasn’t traditionally athletic. I would have loved trampoline time at school! Come check out my blog if you get a chance 🙂
