Here are some fun Fall activities we have done…………..
Part 2 of our Hands on Fall Learning Activities (Part 1 of our Hands on Fall Activities can be found HERE. We do not celebrate halloween so we have been focusing on the season of Fall!
Some ask what do you do if you do not celebrate halloween? This 10/31 we will be going to church for service then coming home & making carmel apples, a pumpkin craft & having a candy treasure hunt. I will be making a map for my kids to find some candy around the house but at each clue we will be reading a scripture verse!

Our homeschool group got together & made leaf wreaths (materials needed are leaf cut outs (fall colors) paper plate w/ the center cut out, string stapled on the backside to make a hook for hanging, glue, glitter & crayons!)
We added glitter to them & my 5 year old wrote Fall words on some of his leaves
The idea of using the cut outs from the leaf wreaths from the above craft to use as stencils from Home Grown Families.
The boys painted them on construction paper w/ sparkly watercolor paints then we hung them up on our patio sliding door – they were so pretty with the sunlight shining through them!
A file folder game I made my preschooler from – matching the fall objects to the silihouettes. This game from File Folder Games for Preschoolers by Carson -Dellosa Publishers.
We baked Fall cookies
Rolled out sugar cookie dough w/ fall candy sprinkles
All 3 of my kids using our fall cookie cutters – some they rolled into balls
Leaves, Apples, Acorns & Pumpkin shaped cookies

Activities my baby tot did this week………… (18 months)
Using the color thick tops from The finished Ella’s Kitchen Organic Squeezable Pouches, she places each one in each section of the ice cube tray. I liked this because the tops have to be put in just right in order for them to fit. Surprisingly she figured it out quite quickly!

I just joined our homeschool co-op and I am so happy that I found them. They always have some amazing ideas. Last week they did a whole thing on hearts. Someone even brought in a real cow heart!!! Anyway, love your idea to put the pictures up in the door to let the colours in!

We have tons of those little lids, what a great idea to use them for activities! Those would be great for color sorting as well!

I LOVE the fall cookies! How gorgeous are they!!!
The stencil craft is so neat. Anything that brings a little sunshine or brightness into the house on dreary weather days is a plus!
