Turn Peeps Into Peep S’mores For A Delicious Easter Treat!

Yum

Ever since I was a kid one of my favorite Easter candies were Peeps. The bunnies have always been my preference because I liked to eat ears off first.  My husband and I also like to open the package and let it sit opened for a few days and eat them stale too.  Are you thinking I am crazy, come on we all have our weird little corks! While I was out shopping the other day with the kids they wanted me to buy them Peeps so I did but instead of eating them plain out of the package I used them as the marshmallow to make s’mores.

Peeps S'mores

Ingredients for serving size of 5 (2 s’mores each person)

I Package of Graham Crackers (7 total)

1 Package of 12 of Peeps

8-9 Pieces of Chocolate Broken In Half

On a baking pan lined with wax paper or a silicone baking liner  trust me using either or will back clean up a snap! Break the graham cracker in half so you have a top and a bottom.  Add the chocolate to the bottom graham cracker then add the Peep on top of the chocolate. Top it off with the other graham cracker and bake in the oven on 350 degrees for 10 minutes.

My 6 year old daughter told me they were the best s’mores she has ever had! I admit they were pretty good!  What recipes have you used Peeps in?
