Every since I was a little girl I have loved Lego’s. My kids have seemed to follow my footsteps! Anything Lego is a big hit in our home, that is why when the new LEGOLAND Hotel opened near Orlando, Florida it was a must that our family stay there.
The LEGOLAND Hotel is a Lego paradise for all ages! This five-story, 152-room Hotel immerses guests into a creative LEGO world designed to bring children’s imaginations to life. More than two million LEGO bricks make up over 2,000 LEGO models throughout the Hotel. The LEGOLAND Hotel is built for kids to take control, with LEGO surprises around every corner.
Once in the lobby of the hotel kids can build with LEGO’s out of the humongous pit filled with LEGO’s until their hearts are content and then display their masterpieces on the shelf in the lobby.
When kids are done building they can play in the LEGO castle. The Castle Play area features a pirate ship and an interactive castle surrounded by a LEGO filled moat. The lobby area and all throughout the hotel kids can have fun posing with the LEGO characters and other brick activities..
The hotel rooms offer 3 different themes: Lego Friends, Pirate, Adventure and Kingdom.
Our pirate room was like being on a Lego pirate boat. The kids bunk beds slept 3 children (top bunk, bottom bunk and trundle bed). Children have their own area just for themselves which, includes a television! All fully decorated with many LEGO brick pieces! Plus kids have a chance to find treasure by searching for the answers to clues in the room for the combination. They can unlock the treasure chest to find a surprise inside.
Just like kids adults need their own space and LEGOLAND Hotel knows that so mom and dad has a separate sleeping area that comes with a television and mini refrigerator.
For more LEGO fun head down to the zero-entry pool and splash pad where you can cool off in the Florida sun and build in the pool with the floating building bricks.
The best thing about it all is that this fabulous hotel is right next door and a short walk to their TWO parks: LEGOLAND theme park and the the LEGOLAND water theme park! Making it the perfect family destination!
Have your kids been to the new LEGOLAND hotel? Kids will never want to leave!
