My husband gets up Monday through Friday to go to work while I stay home with our 5 children. Our weekdays are filled with homeschooling and other homeschool activities. Weekday breakfasts are difficult since I homeschool our kids they tend to wake up at different times. By the time they are awake my husband has already left for work. Dinner time is also hard, the kids have evening activities so there are times we do not eat as a family. Weekend breakfasts are very important for my family. It gives us a chance to catch up and talk about our week. I decided to surprise my kids and make their favorite breakfast; Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls. Normally when I make these mouth watering rolls my kids ask for me to turn the oven light on so they can sit on the floor in front of the oven and watch them bake. Impatiently they wait but they know they are worth the wait! When they come pipping hot out of the oven the kids want to help ice the rolls but we wait for them to cool down a bit so they can help. Remembering my childhood each time when they want to lick the inside of the icing container as I did as a child. Then it’s time to serve them and enjoy our weekend breakfast. During our family weekend breakfast times I get sentimental where I sit back and listen to all the conversations and think about how blessed I am. There is no rushing to be someplace, it is all about our family enjoying our time together as well as sharing a delicious breakfast together! There is no better way to do this with tasty Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls! Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls are amazing on their own but you can also showcase them in other recipes too: Yum
