My children and I collaborated on an Easter craft today — an Easter Cross Wreath:
Materials:
Sticks
9 inch wreath from the Dollar Tree
Acrylic paint, paint brushes
Hot glue gun
My kids and I gathered thinner sticks outside. Then I wiped them off with a paper towel, allowed them to dry. Each of my children chose a paint color to paint their sticks.
After painting their sticks, we let them dry for a few hours and then I snapped the sticks into smaller pieces making a cross out of the sticks. Then hot gluing the horizontal and vertical sticks together. Then hot glued all the crosses on the wreath. Finally I hung our Easter Cross wreath on our front door. I used the clear plastic price tag that came on the wreath to hang it on the front door hook. This was a thrifty, recycled fun craft to do with my kids! It was a collaboration!
