THANKSGIVING ACTIVITY/SENSORY BOX – LEARN & LINK

Do you have an educational post that is about your child and you would like to share?  It can be a craft, a lesson, sport etc. that your child learned this week. You do not have to be a homeschooler to LINK up below – happy to have you join us! Then come back every Friday and continue to share your learn and link post! Please do not link up educational reviews – thanks!

This week I put together a Thanksgiving activity/sensory box for my 3 and 1 year old.

In our sensory/activity box I used:
fabric fall leaves (Dollar Tree)
Dry Lentil Beans
Measuring Spoons, tongs and play tweezers
flannel cuts outs (turkeys, leaves, etc)
Printables from Confessions of a Homeschooler (which I laminated, for the place in size turkeys I had my daughter put them on the binder clip in order)
Colored plastic bowls (same colors as the fall leaves)
Gourds, pumpkins (Dollar Tree)

What did they do with their box?
~ My daughter pulled the leaves out of the box and matched them in the corresponding colored bowl.
~  Both children poured, scooped and transferred the lentil beans into other containers
~ My daughter placed the turkeys in order by size, did the pattern cards, and matched the shadow and picture cards
