My 3 year old loves to play with Play-Doh and we are still learning his numbers 0-10. We do matching, counting, etc. weekly till he gets it! So I printed off block numbers from printer projects. Then I copied & pasted them into Word, making them smaller so 2 would fit per page. Then placed them in clear sheet protectors. So when he played with Play-Doh today – he didn’t even realize he was learning!
Since he really isn’t writing – this is a good way for him to trace the numbers. It can be used by rolling out into “snakes” or ripping off pieces to fill in the numbers.
Great idea! Play dough is always a hit
I really like this for my 3 year old. I bet she would love it. And this just gave me a great idea for getting my blind daughter to learn her numbers, shapes and letters. Thanks!
