Don’t throw your lids away!

For months & months I have been saving large lids to jars, cans & containers. Different colors and sizes. I knew this is something my baby would enjoy playing with. Sure enough she did!

She enjoyed putting them in & out of a large bowl
I made sure they were large so if by chance she put them in her mouth she wouldn’t swallow or choke, also I cleaned them all in the dishwasher so that they were clean, plus since they are from food jars they at #5 plastic which is safe!
WAYS TO USE THEM:
Let your child put in & out of a bowl or container
Sort by color
Sort by size
They could play with them in water to see which ones float (some maybe a little thicker & not float – like peanut butter lids)
You could even write on them: numbers, letters shapes
Sequence patterns

It could be endless how you use them! It’s a great way to recycle, re-use & saving money!
I will continue to collect them so that we have every color & more of a variety of sizes for her and my toddler to enjoy!
