Nutritional Co-op

We have a great mom in one of our homeschool groups that does Raw Foods. God has given her a very special gift and a passion for nutrition. It is a blessing that she is sharing this with our group. She has some great receipes and is always so willing to share her nutritional information. This is the 1st week of the nutritional co-op she is hosting. Today the kids learned that they need 3 servings of fruit & 2 servings of veggies a day. They got to pitch in & help make a fruit & veggie smoothie too!

Yummy! He liked it & it didn’t taste like veggies! I am off the the fruit market tomorrow to stock up on healthy veggies & fruits to incorporate these yummy smoothies into our daily diet!
Next week the kids will be learning the food pyramid!
