For the next few weeks my toddler will be learning his shapes. Starting off with circles. I made him a circle match game for him to play this week.
Materials:
thicker paper (I used construction paper – 1 pc)
ruler , a larger bottle top, scissors
10 different colored small bottle tops (if you do n ot have colored ones use the white ones – you can color them)
I traced the large bottle top on the paper, colored the circles so they match the bottle tops, cut out the strips. I didn’t have a pink, black & brown bottle top so I used Sharpies & crayons colored the tops.
Now my toddler can continuing learning his colors while learning his shapes!

What a great idea! Very clever! I will have to do this with my son! Thanks for your encouragement on my blog!
I very much enjoyed reading this! My SIL has FIVE kiddos and they are all home schooled and they are smart cookies!
I am following your from FF-come follow back please. Looking forward to reading your blog! Juiana from A Blonde Walks Into A Blog!

Very good idea! This should be very fun and successful. I will be looking forward to updates on how it is going!
Cute! My 2 yr old would love this! I have a ton of tops too!
I knew there was a reason I was saving all of our lids, now I know exactly what to do with them. Today we had some of them out and my little boy enjoyed stacking them – simple, but it kept him amused for a little while.
I like all of your colour activities from your Tot School post. I can imagine my son really enjoying opening a flip lid and putting coloured popsicle sticks in the container (oh and making them fly out and go everywhere would also be right up his alley) My son loves to open and close lids and take things in and out of containers, boxes, etc.
That is too cute! I hadn’t realized just how many different colors those lids came in. I need to pay attention, I guess LOL
What perfect circles you drew! And, what a great game. I always love the simple games that do so much!
Love that idea! Thanks for sharing and linking up!!!
