Learning shapes
I took a family size cereal box, on the un-printed side I traced the popsicle sticks for shapes: diamond, square, rectangle & rectangle. I used colorful popsicle sticks I already had in our craft drawer. My toddler is learning his shapes, this is a good hands on game for him to play as he places the popsicle sticks over each shapes (tracing it)
The game folded up with popsicle sticks in ziploc bag. Fold up & fits great in my toddler’s workbox!
I forgot I had these as I was in my craft drawer last night looking for the popsicle sticks to make the shape chart for my toddler I found these popsicle puzzles. I made them for my preschooler back in April for his birthday & I decided I was going to give them to him another time (I don’t know why I decided that?). My son loves dinosaurs so I took an old book I got for free, cut out dinosaur pictures glued them on the back of popsicle sticks then with an exacto knife I cut them into slits making dinosaur puzzles! I gave them to my son last night & he loved them so today I am going to have him pick out what pictures he wants & make him somemore.
