How My Son Made His Lego Fidget Spinner #Lego

If you are a parent or a teacher I am sure you have heard all about the latest craze of the fidget spinners.  As a parent to a son who often is antsy I think it’s a good idea for them to have these to keep themselves busy but at the appropriate time. As a homeschool mom I do not mind if my son plays with his during certain times during our schooling but I can see how they can be a distraction to others and even himself! When I showed my nine year old son a fidget spinner that came up on my Facebook news feed made out of Lego’s he instantly grabbed his Lego bin and sat down and went to work.

He liked the one he saw on-line but he decided he was going to make his own version. One that would do a few extra things to play with.  Not only would he be able to spin it in his hands like a regular fidget spinner but he could spin it on hard surfaced due to the bottom piece he added for it to spin like a top and then there is taking it apart and putting it back together like a puzzle which he has done several times!

My son asked if he could do a video tutorial on how he made his Lego fidget spinner so other boys and girls could make one of their own, so here it is!

If you have any questions for him please comment below and we will get back with you!
