Mama to 5 Blessings wrote this post on 20th Century Fox and their PR Company. I received several Kung Fu Panda items and movies in exchange for an honest review. This is not a sponsored review and all views and opinions are of my own and were not influenced in any way.
My kids are thrilled about the new Kung Fu Panda 3 movie coming to theaters at the end of this month. While we wait for the new movie to come out we had a Kung Fu Panda party to tide us over! We revisited our favorite movies; Kung Fu Panda and Kung Fu Panda 2 while enjoying lots of goodies sent to us my Fox Home Entertainment.
We started watching the movies in order. It was like watching them for the 1st time, never getting bored! Then the kids pretended to be the different movie characters and with their masks and plush toys that were sent to us.
The finale of the party was the Kung Fu Panda Po (Panda) cake. First I used white cake mix and baked the cake. Allowing it to cool off overnight. With white frosting I frosted the cake being careful not to get any cake bits mixed in the frosting.
I used the backside of chocolate cookies as the ears and placed them on the top of the cake being careful not to push too hard into the cake so they would not break or damage the cake. I took a toothpick and outlined the eyes and nose in the frosting and then traced over it with black gel frosting. Needless to say they enjoyed the cake, Po Panda their favorite Kung Fu Panda character!
Have you watched any of the Kung Fu Panda movies? If so which one was your favorite?
