I love doing crafts with my kids. With Valentine’s Day coming up, here is a chocolaty fun craft that my kids enjoyed making ~ Chocolate Lip Gloss. The fun continues as when they were done making the lip gloss they enjoyed wearing it! Plus it only requires three ingredients!
Ingredients:
1 Cup Vaseline
2 Tablespoons Coco Powder
2 Tablespoons Sugar
Lip Gloss Containers With Lids
Directions:
First heat 1 cup of Vaseline constantly stirring until it becomes a liquid. Next add the coco powder to the Vaseline until you reached your desired “chocolate” color. Then add the sugar and mix all the ingredients until fully dissolved. Finally transfer the finished lip gloss into the individual containers.
These little homemade lip glosses make the perfect little gift for kids to pass out to their friends for Valentine’s Day or a cute party favor for a Valentine’s Day party!
Have you ever made lip gloss with your kids? If so what flavors did you make?

I want to try this. I love chocolate AND I always have lip gloss on!
I have boys so I have never made lip gloss. Although this could be a fun ladies night project!
Milena, My boys helped make it too!
I have never made lip gloss but this looks so easy and delicious! What a fun Valentine’s gift or even party favor! Thank you for sharing!
I like the idea of having some as party favors. They’d be great for goodie baskets.
What a great idea for a little girl’s birthday party. Very cute indeed.
Oh fun! I’d love to make some of this lip gloss. It would be super easy to make some for Valentine’s Day gifts.
I haven’t tried making my own lipgloss yet. I bet my daughter would love for us to make this together.
I’m with the majority on this one. I have never made my own lip gloss before but I love chocolate so I can see myself making a batch just for me! The girls would love sharing this for valentines!
This is SUCH a cute Valentine’s Day gift. I might just have to try this myself.
Oh wow, this looks awesome. I have made lip scrubs but not gloss. This is a great idea, it looks awesome. My girls would love making these.
I have never thought about making my own lip gloss, but since it is so easy to do I must give it a try. I would like to make a pineapple ‘flavored’ one.
I bet these would be fun for party favors. I know my daughter would like them for her friends.
I would be worried my kids would just eat the whole lip gloss! LOL. It would be fun to make with the older kids.
What a cute idea! My kids would really love this. Their lips have been chapped.
This would be fun to do with my Daughter. I would love chocolate chip flavored lips.
What do you think the shelf life would be on this? Where do I buy those containers? So cute.
Shelley, Click on the link for the containers in the materials of the post. I am not sure how long the shelf life is but I would think it would last for quite sometime.
This is a great gift idea! I can’t believe how easy this is to make.
That looks YUMMY! I might apply it a few too many times throughout the day with that kind of flavor!
I didn’t know it was so easy. I love the idea of making this with my teen (yep, she’s 16 but she’d love it).
Love that this uses ingredients that I can find at any store. Looks easy to make and what girl doesn’t love chocolate?!
I almost want to eat this instead of putting on my lips. I bet it smells awesome too!
OMG no!!! VASELINE!!!! IT’s basically petrol!!! DONT MIX IT WITH CHOCOLATE AND ENCOURAGE KIDS TO EAT IT! Use something else that isn’t toxic…… /o\ /0\
No one is eating it and I am not encouraging them to eat toxins. Get a grip.
