This year we have a completely different homeschool year. Our schedule is jam packed so much so that I find myself barely catching my breath! Saturday’s are my family’s only day of down time. Most Saturdays we do not even leave the house. I like to begin our day by making my kids favorite breakfast — Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls!
My kids love to help me ice the rolls, making sure they have their roll picked out just for them! Then it is a race to see who gets to lick the icing container!
Weekend breakfasts give our family a chance to “catch up” and talk about the week we just had. My husband hears about our homeschooling week and what the kids learned and then we discuss are weekend plans.
Most weekend plans consist of staying in our pajamas lounging around, doing household chores and of coarse playtime! In between chores we make sure to take plenty of breaks for playtime whether it be inside or outside my children never stop!

When I was able to eat Cinnamon Rolls, I use to buy those Pillsbury rolls a lot. I sure do miss them!!! They were the BEST!!! Don’t ever get old!!! You just can’t eat the way you used to. Or, some of us can’t.
Oh, these are MY favorite. I remember waking up as a little girl in the fall to the smell of these cinnamon buns and the cool air coming through the windows as my mom cleaned the house. Makes me smile 🙂

We love Pillsbury cinnamon rolls in our house. It is usually a treat on a Saturday or Sunday morning when I make these and my kids love it.
We haven’t made cinnamon buns in ages! Usually we save them for Christmas morning so we have something to nibble on while we wait for brunch 🙂
So funny! I make these with bacon and cheesy eggs every Saturday morning too! It is the only morning that we can get up and have a leisurely breakfast so we take advantage and linger over it!
