Purina Pro Plan is working to change the perception of dry cat food by introducing Savor Shredded Blend, an all-new mealtime experience that combines crunchy kibble and tender meaty shreds to provide both extraordinary nutrition and exceptional taste.
In order to change how people think of who typically loves cats, Purina Pro Plan is partnering with proud cat guy and “Devious Maids” actor Gilles Marini to search for extraordinary men who own and love cats. We are asking that people nominate the cat guys in their lives or that those extraordinary cat guys out there enter themselves by sharing a photo of them with their cat on Instagram or Twitter using the hashtag #MenAndCatsContest and tagging @ProPlanCat from August 31 – September 14. Those men could be featured in the 2016 Purina Pro Plan Extraordinary Men and Cats Calendar and win a year’s supply of Savor Shredded Blend.
The calendars will be used to raise funds for rescue groups nationwide through the Purina Pro Plan Rally to Rescue network.

I know a lot of crazy cat lady friends but no crazy cat man friends although one of my husbands friends owns a cat but I’m not sure he’d be up for a contest.

My husband has adopted my cat (I bought him as an ex showcat from a breeder to live out the rest of his days away from the camera before I even knew hubby!) and is far, far more soppy over him than me. Definitely a pampered pet!

Oh, that’s funny! I know many men who love and have cats. I have one dog and one cat so I’ve heard it all. They both have eaten Purina Pro Plan.

I entered my son in law into the Men and Cats contest. I think it’s a really cute little contest, I like looking through the pictures and seeing all the entries.

I love cats but we only have dogs due to allergies in our house. I do love this campaign and I think it will really bring some nice attention to a great product.
We’ve been feeding our new dog Purina ProPlan since he was a puppy. We just transitioned to the adult food when he turned one. I’ll have to look into this one.

Come to think of it, I don’t know any men who own cats, at least not by choice. There are a few who “inherited” cats (and became excellent cat step-fathers!) haha!
