Recently my family and I headed up north on Florida’s coast and stayed on a little piece of heaven. Where the beaches are natural, uncrowded and relaxing. Tuckaway Shores Resort sits on the Atlantic Ocean. This beautiful gem offers everything you need and then some for your stay.
Tuckaway Shores Resort is a beautiful small quaint resort that offers 3 floors of ocean side or ocean front rooms. Their adjoining rooms literally are steps away from the ocean. We could hear the ocean waves come crashing in from our back patio!
These two suites are fully equipped with a kitchenette and all the modern conveniences to make your stay comfortable with no worries! The kitchens have stove burners, dishes, cooking utensils, a refrigerator and a microwave. So whether you are staying for one night or several you can eat in and not spend money eating out which is what we did because we did not want to spend the money plus we didn’t want to waste anytime getting to the beach!
We also had a spacious living room area which includes a t.v. and a sleeper sofa coach. Since it was a separate area from our room it gave us our own space. After going to the beach or the pool all day and it was time to unwind, we had our own television in our room not having to watch what the kids watched. When it was time for bed I feel asleep fast because everything was so comfortable!
I have stayed at many of hotels but none that were as immaculate as Tuckaway Shores Resort. It was spotless! All decor and furnishings were all modern and decorated with a beachy theme which was perfect for the location.
For outside fun Tuckaway has a nice spacious heated pool, a cabana and a Big Green Egg which is the state of the art grill/smoker/baker and a place to eat outdoors.
Want to take a break from the refreshing pool, head to the beach just a small walk away. Do not worry about bringing your own chairs and umbrellas because Tuckaway Shores Resort has thought of everything, they have them for you!
I cannot say enough wonderful things about this resort. I can sum up our stay with one word AWESOME! These accommodations are perfect all year long. Book now for an amazing summer getaway! I want to go there so bad. It looks like a great family getaway!
Now that’s a vacation. We always end up in a motel which I hate. I prefer a spot like that where I can cook my own meals since we have food allergies and eating out is expensive with a family of 6.
I like to cook while on vacation too, because it really does save a bundle.

I’m so impressed with how well equipped the kitchen is! I’ve stayed in so many hotels/resorts with a mini-kitchen that was barely useable due to no dishes or other necessities! I also love that the beach is mere steps away from your front door! What a great place!

LOVE LOVE LOVE having access to a kitchen. I like the option of being able to cook a meal (especially breakfast) while on vacation.

This might be crazy, but I have never ever been to a beach! We live in Kansas and don’t really have water near us besides lakes. That would be so nice to step out the door and boom your at the beach! What a fun place to stay!

Oh my, Tuckaway Shores Resort look incredible! I like that it has 3 floors and isn’t super tall since I don’t like heights and it’s right next to the water, I can imagine hearing the ocean waves being so relaxing and the furnishings are beautiful. I love it!

This place looks amazing. It has everything that you would possibly need to have a great fun filled family time. I love places like this where you can make your own food after a day at the beach and not have to pack everyone into the car to go find something to eat.
